Neokeratin S2 Straightening Treatment Cream

Neokeratin S2 cream for straightening treatment allows you to straighten hair in a safe and efficient way thanks to the keratin it contains.

Neokeratin has formulated two types of smoothing cream. You should select the one that fits the most with the type of hair of your client.

SOFT: for fine and medium hair.
STRONG: for thick and curly hair, especially bushy hair.

Separate the hair into sections and apply the product with a brush starting from the neck. Leave it act around 15-20 min, checking the hair each 5 min. Rinse during some minutes with warm water until the product is entierely removed.

We recommend you to follow these steps to realise a keratin straightening with NeoKeratin:

1. First, wash the hair with S1 Neokeratin shampoo to remove all impurities. Rinse with warm water and dry with a towel. DO NOT APPLY CONDITIONER.

2. Untangle the hair beore separating it into sections.

3. With the help of a brush, apply Neokeratin S2 smoothing treatment cream on the hair, starting from the neck (use suitable gloves). The product must be uniformly spread using a fine comb, from the roots to the ends. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Check the hair elasticity every 5 minutes. If you notice any alteration of the hair fibre, remove immediatly the product. DO NOT APPLY HEAT DURING THIS STAGE.

4. Rinse with warm water, making sure that no traces remain in the hair. Dry with a towel.

5. Apply Neokeratin S3 balsam and spread it evenly all over the hair, insisting on the more porous areas.

6. Dry the hair with Sculpby ionic 3300-C hairdryer, stretching it with C-Tourmaline thermal brushes (do not use aluminium hair brush).

7. STRAIGHTEN the hair at 230ºC with your Sculp hair iron Neon Stylist, section by section, until it is smooth.

8. With a brush, apply Neokeratin S4 Neutralizing cream, starting from the neck, making sure that all the hair is covered. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes. KEEP THE HAIR AS STRAIGHTENED (smooth) AS POSSIBLE.

9. Continue the hair straightening treatment by removing the product, rinsing the hair with plenty of tepid water.

10. Wash the hair with Neokeratin S5 shampoo.

11. Rinse with plenty of water and dry with a towel.

12. Apply uniformly Neokeratin S6 mask and leave it act during 10-15 minutes.

13. Rinse with water and dry again with your Sculpby IONIC 3300-C hairdryer and the C-Tourmaline thermal brushes.

14. If once the straightening hair treatment NeoKeratin ended, you want to iron the hair again, you must apply balsam once again.

It is indispensable to use the salt-free shampoo Neokeratin S5, the salt-free mask Neokeratin S6 and the moisturising balm Neokeratin S3. Their extremely soft formulas take cautiously care of the hair after a brasilian straightening.

• Hair Straightening treatment must be applied on virgin hair, meaning hair on which no chemical treatment with formol has been formerly applied. If the hair has previously undergone treatment with formaldehyde, it could be seriously damaged. As a professional, you must make sure to ask your client all necessary questions in order to know if the smoothing treatment can be applied on the hair or not.

• Do not wash the hair for the next 3 days following the treatment.

• If you want to straighten the hair again after treatment, use the balsam again.
