Tonology is the Carobels Color science

Some years ago, Carobels started to look for more advanced dyeing formulas. More than 3 years of research and many tests of formulas finally allow the company to finalize its project at the end of 2006 with the discovery and the application of the new technology, INS-PYRENCE, based on 3 fundamental aspects of colouring:

• The colour: Colourants (pigments) of low molecular weight and electrically charged (+), that facilitate the colour penetration into the cortex and the cuticle, while doubling the holding time of the colour, improving amongst other things its intensity.

• Hair hydration and gleam: A high content of conditioning and homogenising active principles that maintain the hair moisturising level, sealing the cuticle in order to make the hair shiner.

• The colouring cream: A strong anti-irritating power and a density which is very close to the one of the developer, in order to optimise the mix process.

And why the name of Tonology ?

Many meetings hold by Carobels’ technicians during this project have taken place in informal and colourful atmospheres in order to encourage creativity and dynamism. During one of these meetings celebrated in a terrace, a famous brand of beverage was holding a night-time event called “Nightology, the science of the night”. At this very moment, Carobels’ team decided to baptise its new dyeing formula “Tonology, the science of colour”.
